Call Congress: Oppose the USA FREEDOM Act!

Join us in opposing Senator Patrick Leahy's watered down surveillance reform.

The USA Freedom Act contains vague language that doesn't protect our privacy rights or end dragnet surveillance. Unfortunately, it does protect corporations that help the NSA spy on innocent Americans and re-authorizes the PATRIOT Act for another 2.5 years.

Call your members in the House and Senate to oppose the USA FREEDOM Act

Sample script:
Hello, my name is {name} and I'm calling today to ask that {Lawmaker's name} oppose the USA Freedom Act.

I support bringing real reform and accountability to the intelligence community. Unfortunately, the current version of the FREEDOM Act fails to end bulk collection, grants legal immunity to telecoms that participate in spying and re-authorizes the PATRIOT Act for another 2 and a half years. This is not the bill the public has demanded from our representatives.

Please tell {Lawmaker's name} to oppose the USA Freedom Act and pursue legislation that truly reigns in the NSA and ends dragnet surveillance.
