The window on getting a public option is closing fast.  Joe Lieberman forced Harry Reid to remove a public option and other progressive elements from the bill, and Reid did so without hesitation.

There are 65 members of Congress who pledged to vote against a bill without a public option.  We need to make sure they still intend to do so.

Yesterday, Joe Lieberman demanded that the public option be taken out of the health care bill, and Harry Reid said okay to stripping out other progressive elements as well.
