Tell House Judiciary Committee Members:
Issue Subpoena for Targeted Killing Memos

Last week, Reps. Bob Goodlatte and John Conyers threatened to subpoena the Obama administration if it did not give the House Judiciary Committee access to the Targeted Killing memos by Thursday.

That deadline has now passed and it appears the committee is planning to issue the subpoena. We want to voice our support and make sure they follow through on their efforts to secure more information on this controversial program.

Call the members of the House Judiciary Committee and tell them to issue a subpoena for access to the targeted killing memos:

Sample script:

Hello, my name is __{name}__ and I'm calling today to urge __{Rep's name}__ and the House Judiciary Committee to subpoena the Obama administration for access to the targeted killing memos. We must do everything we can to shed light on this program and allow the public to have a debate on this radical use of executive power.

I support the committee's work to secure more information on the program and encourage them to do more to overcome efforts by the White House to stonewall transparency. Thank you.

NOTE: Please call members of the House Judiciary Committee even if you are not one of their constituents. This is an issue that effects us as Americans and human beings, and your district is irrelevant to your support for transparency from the Executive Office. However, if you would like to see if your representative is a member of the committee, you may search for your district here.
