Call Your Reps: Investigate the Surveillance State!

In a bombshell speech from the chamber floor, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein accused the CIA of hacking into the committee's network and removing documents pertaining to their investigation of the agency's infamous torture program.

If true, this audacious act would be in violation of federal law, constitutional separation of powers and the Senators' own fourth amendment rights. This may be the wake-up call lawmakers need to launch a full-scale investigation into the overreach of the entire U.S. national security state..

Call your representatives now and ask them to convene a special congressional investigation into the surveillance activities of the NSA, FBI and CIA.

Sample script:

Hello, my name is ____{name}____ and I'm calling today to ask ____{Offical's name}____ to support an official congressional investigation into the surveillance activities of the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Revelations that the CIA may have actually removed documents from Senate computers is just another example of the lengths the intelligence community will go to conceal its misdeeds. Couple this with the stream of information regarding abuse at the NSA and other spying agencies and it's clear that it's long past time for a serious investigation into the overreach of the national security apparatus.

Will ____{Offical's name}____ support such an investigation?
