Bradley Manning is the 23-year-old Army Private accused of leaking classified documents to Wikileaks. For the last six months, he has been detained in solitary confinement enduring conditions that are cruel, inhumane, and bordering on torture. (More info on Bradley Manning below.)

US Army Private First Class Bradley Manning was arrested in May 2010 for allegedly leaking classified information to Wikileaks. In July he was transfered to US Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
At Quantico, Manning was placed in solitary confinement under "maximum custody" and a restrictive "Prevention of Injury" order while he awaits trial.
Those restrictions include:
David House, a friend who has visited Manning in Quantico, along with Manning's attorney, have reported Manning's physical and mental well-being are in decline.
Bradley Manning is completely isolated, and he is unnecessarily suffering because of the POI order.
